Under the Building Energy efficiency Disclosure Act 2010, building owners are required to disclose the energy efficiency of a property when selling, leasing or subleasing over 1,000sqm This is required in the form of a BEEC includes a NABERS Whole or Base Building Energy Rating and a Tenancy Lighting Assessment. Read More The subsequent certiﬁcation discloses the energy efficiency of the property in the form of a NABERS Star Rating ranging from 1 to 6 Stars, and the efficiency of the lighting used within the tenancies of the building. The certiﬁcation also includes General Energy Efficiency guidance.
